Tianjin Eye

A giant wheel rises above Yongle Bridge and the Hai River. Its circular shape changes the rhythm of the waterfront skyline.

The Tianjin Eye stands on Yongle Bridge across the Hai River. Its wheel rises about 120 metres, adding a broad circle to a waterfront otherwise defined by bridges, riverbanks and buildings. The structure can be appreciated as part of the cityscape as well as an observation attraction.

Compare its outline with the lines beneath it: bridge, water and shore. A companion may notice a reflection or angle that makes a familiar-looking wheel seem quite different.
