A PLACE, A STORY / Changchun
Jingyuetan
Water and forest give this Changchun landscape its quiet rhythm. Compare the lines of the shore with the upright shapes of trees.

Jingyuetan brings a reservoir and extensive woodland together on Changchun’s southeastern side. Paths and waterside viewpoints allow the scene to shift between open water and close views of trees. The landscape can be appreciated through these simple contrasts without turning a visit into a list of activities.
Choose a view with a friend and describe its strongest line: the shore, a branch or the distant tree cover. You may find that you noticed entirely different parts.
